Since its founding in 1827, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. KTH is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world dedicated to advancing knowledge. Almost two-thirds of the SEK 4 billion turnover of KTH relates to research. The five KTH campuses in Greater Stockholm gather more than 12,000 full-time students, some 2,000 PhD students and approximately 3,700 full-time employees.
