Yaxin Zhang

Yaxin Zhang was born in Handan, China, in 1991. He received his B.Sc. degree in information display and optoelectronic technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, in 2014. In 2016, He received the M.Sc. degree at the Chalmers University of Technology, majoring in wireless, photonics and space engineering. During his period at Chalmers, He worked with the Terahertz and Millimetre Wave Laboratory, Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2), focusing on G-FET based microwave and millimeter wave applications.

Since October 2016, he was enrolled as a PhD student at DTU Elektro and Fotonik, Technical University of Denmark. As a part of CELTA, the purpose of his project is to address the challenges related to the signal generation in the 0.1-1 THz frequency range by using innovative transistor-based active circuit approaches, i.e., investigating highly efficient frequency multiplier chains allowing to extent the frequency range for transistor-based sources.
